We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting our sales and inventory operations by maintaining and improving systems within our proprietary computer software. The primary goal of this position is to streamline internal processes, allowing the team to focus on outbound sales and overall business growth.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Starting date: As soon as possible
- Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience, plus potential performance-based bonus.

Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update proprietary computer software to support sales operations.
- Assist in creating and improving systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Generate and analyze reports related to sales, inventory, and operations.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the sales and operations teams as needed.
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient supply chain management.
- Monitor inventory reports, track usage, and recommend reorder points to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Assist in tracking profit and loss (P&L) statements to support budgeting and financial planning.
- Monitor operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction without compromising efficiency.
- Work with management to ensure that all operational decisions are data-driven.
- Serve as a liaison between office staff, field technicians, and management, ensuring smooth communication.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements for optimization.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure that all records, documentation, and reports are accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Additional Responsibilities (As Needed):
- Assist with special projects and company initiatives.
- Provide support in employee training related to inventory and operational software.
Operations Coordinator Qualifications:
- Construction management background is an asset.
- Experience in the door industry preferred but not essential.
- Strong ability to navigate and manage various software platforms, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Understanding of effective inventory control processes to maintain efficiency.
- Ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Preferably a college or university degree.
